Summer on the Lake is part of my Golden Hour Series, capturing that tranquil moment before sunset when colours intensify, contrasts deepen, and the landscape feels softly infused with warm, glowing light.
This work combines processes developed in my Forest of Light series with layered oil paint and gold leaf. Sitting between representation and abstraction, the surface shimmers with texture and reflection, inviting a calm, reflective way of seeing.
