Water Lilies Cluster Triptych

£2,100

Water Lilies – Cluster Triptych explores the quiet beauty and hidden complexity of water lilies gathered across a reflective pond.

The delicate blooms float calmly on the surface, while beneath them lies an unseen world of stems, roots and movement. This contrast between surface calm and hidden depth is central to Susan Bunn’s wider exploration of Undercurrents.

Built through layers of oil paint and metal leaf, the work combines rich colour, texture and reflective elements. As the light changes, the metallic surface catches and releases glimmers of light, echoing the movement of water and creating a shifting, immersive quality.

The three panels work together as a single composition, drawing the viewer into the tranquil surface while hinting at everything that exists beneath it.

Water Lilies – Cluster Triptych is part of Susan’s continuing exploration of nature, reflection, light and the emotional connections we find within familiar landscapes.
