pring Reflections, Yellow expands the Golden Hour Series by introducing water and reflection as central elements. I’m often drawn to the reflected image, where ripples and gentle distortions soften form and create a more fluid, dreamlike interpretation of the landscape.

Rooted in the golden hour — that fleeting moment as the sun lowers on the horizon — the work captures a time when colours intensify, contrasts deepen, and details appear both sharper and softer simultaneously. Gold leaf is woven through the painted layers to enhance this luminosity, allowing the surface to subtly shift and glow as the light changes.
